Induction Loop Receiver
HHA0079W
- This stylish, ultra compact Vortexion loop receiver is designed for unobtrusive use in all situations.
- It will run for up to 200 hours continuously, using AA (standard or alkaline) batteries.
- Induction loops are increasingly used for the assistance of the hard of hearing, the relaying of commentaries and translations and for increased intelligibility of speech generally wherever the deaf symbol is displayed - in public places, at conferences, in theatres, museums, banks, post offices and railways.
- Whilst it is possible for anyone who uses a hearing aid of the standard NHS type to receive loop signals by using the 'T' switch on their hearing aid, it is often useful for those with normal hearing to receive these signals.
- The Vortexion loop receiver, which is mono operative, offers excellent clarity, a high degree of immunity from spurious interference and a margin of sensitivity which allows it to be effective under non-ideal conditions.
- It is simple to operate and can be used with headphones of all types - mono (communications), stereo (walkman), or single earpiece.
- It is capable of high volume levels and is a low noise, low distortion device.
